Tips For Viewing Documents Hosted By Scribd:

If you have not previously viewed documents such as Presentations, E-books, Articles etc. published through Scribd.com, you may find the following tips helpful:

The Scribd Toolbar:

At the top of each document you will see the above toolbar. The two main “tools” to note are the:

Toggle Full Screen icon

...and the Increase / Decrease Page Size icon:

Clicking on the Toggle Full Screen icon, opens a larger version of the document in a new window.

Click on the Increase / Decrease Page Size icon and you will see a slider bar pops down that allows you to make the document larger or smaller, as you wish.

When you click the “X” where the Toggle Full Screen icon used to be, the window will close, returning you to this webpage.

You may find that the original document now looks ‘odd’. If you want to resize it, you can still use the “Increase / Decrease Page Size” icon to make it look more normal, if you wish.

If you want to read the document at Scribd.com, then simply click on the Scribd logo

However, please note that doing so does NOT open a new window in your browser, so if you want to return to the Genius For Hire! website after you have finished reading, you need to click the “back” button in the top left hand corner of your internet browser. (Closing the window you have just opened in Scribd will close this website too, which can be a bit annoying).

If you wish to download the document, you may of course do this via the Scribd.com website entirely free of charge. However, please note that Scribd do require you to have an account with them in order to download documents, but please don’t be put off by this.

If you already have a Scribd account, then simply log in in order to be able to download the document. If you don’t have a Scribd account, then registration is free, only takes a few seconds and is well worth doing, especially if you also wish to publish your own documents, which is also entirely free of charge, at Scribd.com
